Sales Manager – Contract Recruitment - Technology / Change and Transformation

Basic c. £50k to £60k, OTE c. £100k

The Person:

  • You are utterly motivated by people development and come from a Contract, Tech/Change recruitment background yourself.

  • With leadership experience, you can demonstrate how you have developed multiple trainee/junior consultants in all aspects of the recruitment process.

  • You may also come from an L&D background and can demonstrate the day to day, continual desk side coaching from Rookie to Consultant, within Contract & Tech.

  • You can demonstrate best practice through the entire recruitment process from talent sourcing to client management, with a track record of preparing entry-level recruiters into established 360 consultants.

  • Established for 15 yrs, as a Tech, Change & Transformation specialist, they serve clients across multiple sectors, including Insurance in the UK, as well as general markets in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and the Financial Services ecosystem.

  • With a £6m NFI, they plan to triple this over the next 3 years for an event.

  • They offer complete talent solution across Perm and Contract, from transactional to retained staffing solutions, plus volume supply to enterprise accounts.

  • With several £1m+ billers (top biller £1.3m), this is a hugely collaborative, high-performance work environment and superb leadership team.

The Role:

  • 2025 launches the "Trainee/Rookie/Graduate Academy and they seek a Sales Manager to lead, manage and mentor these entry-level recruitment consultants on their growth journey to fully fledged, 360 Consultants.

  • Once on 10 runners, the Consultants will then attain their own specialist Contract desk and move into the Sales Team.

  • Whilst there is already a great deal of training collateral and a superb Sales Director, this is an opportunity to introduce your own methods of taking Trainees to Consultant level with on-going development

  • You will be leading groups of Trainees - probably 4 to 5 at any one time - managing and developing them, probably for the first year of their career.

  • During the year, there will be further cohorts of Trainees for you to develop - so it is an evolving structure - and the sky is the limit of how the Academy transforms under your leadership.

  • A c70% L&D/ c30% Manager role - remuneration includes flat commission for every placement your trainee makes, plus bonus on P&L achievement and commission for any billings yourself.

  • Whilst predominantly a non-billing role – it is ideal you will still wish to act as a role model, maintaining your own portfolio of clients and candidates.
