The Person:

The ideal candidate will be a Public Services Recruitment Professional with experience of managerial and complex recruitment projects, seeking to join a successful and mature team that is recognised as market leaders in their field. The target market is niche and light competitive intensity and will appeal to anyone who is operating in a congested or commoditized market.  If you are creative, motivated, focused, ambitious, and keen to get involved in a really challenging business all that's missing is you!


The Company:

Established in 2007 our client focusses on senior appointments in the Built Environment.  They employ over 40 staff working out of 3 offices; they have specialist teams covering a broad range of activities from Design to Bids, Construction, Estates Management, Property and Infrastructure. The Leadership team are very hands on and deliver complex and challenging Retained Search Assignments and they act as Account Directors for all of their best clients. They know the market and have good contacts in senior roles across their industry. They advise and guide and are well placed to deliver results in a competitive, difficult and rapidly changing market. 


The Role: 

A recognised market leader in management recruitment in the Higher Education Estates market. They have an established team 11 strong who have significant experience.  The team delivers Search, Retained Permanent Solution or Freelance recruitment solutions and generates c £2m in fees annually.  This role will launch a new business unit leveraging from strong personal contacts with many COO’s and VC of the leading university institutions.  Working on retained appointments you will place non-teaching professionals in a range of Managerial, Support Services and Student Services positions.   There is a strong focus on growth, to build this to a team to 6 Recruitment Consultants, resulting in a £1m business within 3 years.  The Principal Recruitment Consultant will be capable of making an annual revenue of c £250k once established. Full bid, marketing, research and administration is provided in-house to support our Consultants.
