Ruella Crouch — Managing Director

With over 25 years recruitment experience, Ruella co-founded Ruella James in 1999. She remains a passionate recruiter still actively engaging with clients and candidates alike on a daily basis. She is predominantly responsible for running retained campaigns and working with senior level candidates. On the rare occasions when Ruella is not at her desk, you will usually find her spending valuable time with her young family and friends.

Katie Wakeling — Business Operations Manager

Katie has been with Ruella James for over 10 years, she is responsible for our Finance, Advertising, Marketing and HR functions as well as supporting the Consultants in a variety of guises on a day to day basis! She initially worked for a high profile Management Consultancy as an Internal Recruiter, then as a Recruitment Consultant for an industry leading firm, before moving to Recruitment-to-Recruitment. When she is not at her desk, Katie likes nothing more than enjoying the great outdoors with her young family, participating in a range of activities including cycling and walking.

Sarah Richardson — Business Manager

Sarah has an unparalleled knowledge of the Recruitment-to-Recruitment market having joined Ruella James as our first ever team member. In addition to meeting the needs of our client base when it comes to sourcing experienced Recruiters, she is also responsible for managing key accounts and responding to all new business enquiries. Away from work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and is currently on Maternity Leave after having her third child earlier this year.

James Wilkinson — Chief Executive

After working in the City as a Gilt Broker, a short stint in Property Management and five years running his own video production company, James became one of the founder Directors of UK Telecom plc, specialising in the design, manufacture, operation and management of payphones. In December 1999, James co- founded Ruella James.
   

Karen Dixon — Talent Manager

Karen joined Ruella James in 2008 and is one of our Talent Managers responsible for sourcing candidates at all levels throughout the industry for our high profile client base. With extensive recruitment experience placing senior professionals both internationally and across the UK, she is well placed to spot industry talent. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her young son and has recently completed a sprint triathlon.

Rachel Diplock — Talent Manager

Rachel joined Ruella James in 2011 and is one of our Talent Managers responsible for sourcing candidates for our high profile client base. She has a particular interest in speaking to Recruiters from the Media and Digital space having spent many years specialising in it herself prior to moving into Recruitment-to-Recruitment. Having recently given birth to her second daughter, Rachel is currently on Maternity Leave and will be returning to the business shortly.

Paul Hale — Talent Manager

Paul has nearly 5 years experience within recruitment. He started at Ruella James initially as a Researcher, and has recently been promoted to his current role of Talent Manager. He focuses predominantly on sourcing talent at all levels across a range of sectors. When he is not speaking to candidates, Paul is a passionate musician, writing and performing his own material.
